Development at Wonga

Since AlburyCity purchased the site in the mid 1990s as part of the Waterview Wastewater Treatment Project, Council has gradually developed the area and its various facilities. Aside from constructing the wetlands and associated levee banks developments have included the establishment of the Aquatic Environment Education Centre, the visitor's centre, the toilet block, carpark, replica Indigenous campsite, seven bird hides and pedestrian bridge and walking tracks.
