AlburyCity is seeking to appoint one independent external member to its Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee for a term of three years, commencing 1 July 2021. The Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee plays a key role in AlburyCity’s governance framework by assisting Council to deliver on its objectives through bringing a holistic, systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of processes regarding risk, control and governance. Specifically, the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee provides independent assistance and assurance to the Council by monitoring, reviewing and providing strategic advice on Council’s governance processes, risk management and control frameworks, internal and external audits, organisational performance and external accountability obligations. Meetings are held on a quarterly basis, with additional meetings scheduled as required.
This newly established role will lead and contribute to business improvement projects across AlburyCity and be responsible for critically evaluating its service delivery in consultation with AlburyCity leaders and providing innovative solutions.

As well as coordinating and administering the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA) framework and associated customer requests.

As part of our City Planning Team, you will undertake strategy development, including maintaining the Local Environmental Plan and Development Control Plan, and carry out projects in accordance with AlburyCity’s annual work program.
Facilitate AlburyCity’s Learning and Development activities through the development and implementation of programs and procedures, annual training plans and the administration of training programs.
This newly established role will work as part of the Engagement Team, assisting in the coordination of communications, marketing and media activity for the museum, as well as producing online content that extends the digital presence of the museum.
This new position will under the Direction of the Business Manager be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations & facility management of the museum to deliver on its special accessibility requirements, providing a streamlined experience for our visitors and customers.
