AlburyCity is encouraging families who've lost loved ones to join a special Christmas remembrance service at Glenmorus Memorial Gardens and Crematorium on Wednesday 11th December.
The service, which begins at 7pm, will include reading the names of loved ones, carols and the opportunity to place a personalised ornament onto a dedicated Christmas Remembrance Tree.
Team leader Martin Forrester-Reid said the service would provide an opportunity for families to come together for support and comfort at a time that can be the most difficult of the year.
"While the festive season is a time for happiness and celebration for many, it can also be a really tough time for many families who have lost loved ones," he said.
“Again this year we extend an open invitation for everyone facing an empty chair at their Christmas table to share some time with us on Wednesday evening 11 December, regardless of whether they have family members at Glenmorus”.
Glenmorus Memorial Gardens and Crematorium is located at 54 Glenmorus Street, Glenroy (off Union Road).
The media is invited to attend the service.
