The Living Room is a welcoming space to connect with the stories of a recently arrived refugee family.
The Living Room is a welcoming space for exploring and connecting with the stories of a recently arrived refugee family in Albury. You are invited to sit, listen, watch and connect as the Shikiro family share the intimate spaces of their lives through personal stories, treasured memories and playful imagery.
A collaborative multimedia work, The Living Room is a celebration of identity, diversity and that which unites us.
Created by the Albury Wodonga Ethnic Communities Council in collaboration with Nomad Films and the Shikiro family.
This project is supported by Create NSW’s Country Arts Support Program, a devolved funding program administered by Regional Arts NSW and Murray Arts on behalf of the NSW Government.
