Nominations are being sought in the following eight categories:

  • Community Group of the Year
  • Creative Citizen of the Year
  • Environmental Citizen of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Senior Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen of the Year
  • Citizen of the Year.

Albury Mayor, Kevin Mack, said the Albury Awards were a celebration of the resilience, dedication and passion of community members who strove to make Albury a better place.

“These are individuals who have not only excelled in their respective fields but have also inspired others to dream bigger and reach higher,” he said.

“Their achievements remind us that, collectively, we can achieve greatness and shape the future of our amazing community.”

Nominations can be made until Monday, 2 December through the AlburyCity website, with hard copy forms also available at the AlburyCity Kiewa St office, LibraryMuseum, Lavington Library and Council community centres.

“If you know someone, or a community group, who is doing great work in the community, I encourage you to recognise and celebrate their efforts by nominating them in the Albury Awards,” Cr Mack said.
