Settle in for an Autumn afternoon of non-stop dance tunes in the Albury Botanic Gardens with Gusto Gusto.
Finalists for the 2023 and 2024 Australian Folk Music Awards’ Artist of the Year, Gusto Gusto are dance floor favourites, and they’ll bring their loud, happy music to the family-friendly event - Music in the Gardens on Sunday 13 April.
Hailing from West Preston, a tiny pocket in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, the past two years have seen Gusto Gusto storming stages including Glastonbury Festival (UK), Brunswick Music Festival (VIC) and Woodford Folk Festival (QLD).
In October 2024, they released their anticipated debut album ‘…To The Ocean They Returned’, a raucous blend of violin, trumpet and clarinet, backed by accordion, guitar, bass and drums. The album debuted at #5 on the ARIA Charts and came out with a three-week UK tour, a NZ tour and a national Australian tour including festival shows across five states.
“Music in the Gardens is a much-loved community event. It’s about more than just great music — it’s about connection, community and enjoying everything our beautiful Botanic Gardens have to offer,” said AlburyCity Mayor Kevin Mack.
Bring your family and friends to this free open-air concert staged at the Albury Botanic Gardens on Sunday 13 April from 1pm – 3pm. Food and drinks are available for purchase or pack a picnic.
Gusto Gusto are the latest act to take to the stage as part of the Music in the Gardens Autumn Series held in the rose garden area.
This is an afternoon not to be missed!
