Albury War Memorial Centenary Ceremony

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Albury’s War Memorial, a landmark of deep historical and cultural significance. To honour this centenary, a special commemorative ceremony will be held at Monument Hill on ANZAC Day at 7:30pm.

As part of this solemn occasion, the lights illuminating the War Memorial—traditionally never turned off—will be momentarily extinguished during the playing of the Last Post, symbolising a profound moment of reflection and remembrance. The lights will then be restored for the final proceedings.

We invite the community to join us in paying tribute to those who served and sacrificed, as we reflect on a century of remembrance.
