Kylie became AlburyCity’s fourth female Mayor in 2022 when she was elected as a first time councillor, serving as Mayor for two terms.

During this time Kylie was also elected Chair of Regional Capitals Australia. The alliance of regional city mayors advocates to Federal Government, voicing the social and economic issues vital to their combined regional communities.

In 2024 Kylie was also elected Deputy Chair of the Riverina and Murray Joint Organisation (RAMJO) on behalf of 11 regional councils, passionate about representing their communities as a collective force to state government.

Kylie has been a long-serving motorsports reporter for Network Ten and Supercars Media, is a local radio breakfast co-host, runs her own communications business, regularly emcee’s charity, community and business events, and has a personal interest in supporting women in leadership, business, sport and media.

Kylie was re-elected as councillor in September 2024.
