NSW Seniors Festival Expression of Interest

NSW Seniors Festival will be held in March 2025. AlburyCity invites you to be a part of this year’s program.

The Seniors Festival celebrates the role and contributions of older adults to our local communities. NSW Senior Festival includes hundreds of events across NSW including online events. Local events are hosted by councils and community organisations.

NSW Seniors Festival: Monday, 3 - Sunday, 16 March 2025

Applications open: Monday, September 2, 2024
Applications close: COB Monday, October 7, 2024

Audience

  • People over 60
  • People over 50 with a lifelong disability
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people over 50

How you can be involved

  • Host an open day or come and try
  • Advertise an existing activity organised by your business or community group
  • Create an event aimed to engage your senior audience
  • Offer a discount or free activity

How Council will promote your event

  • Produce and print a program booklet
  • A mail out to residence
  • The program will be distributed around the CBD
  • A digital copy available on Council’s website
  • Promotion on 2AY radio
  • Social media

Assessment

Your EOI will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • Engagement focused on the target audience.
  • Has an Entertainment, informational or interactive element
  • Accessible and affordable preferred

Successful applicants will be notified by email on the outcome of your submission.
