We’re planning a major investigation into how tracks and trails on Nail Can Hill can be improved and maintained over coming years.
We’re planning a major investigation into how tracks and trails on Nail Can Hill can be improved and maintained over coming years.
A network of trails through bushland is widely used by walkers, mountain bike riders, photographers and others who are drawn to the hill’s flora and fauna, right on the edge of our city.
As part of the 2020-21 budget, we’ll conduct a detailed audit of the trails to identify which should be improved as well as those that at are at risk of serious deterioration and require repairs.
By gaining a comprehensive understanding of the network, we’ll be able to ensure nature lovers, riders and those who simply enjoy the beauty of our native bushland can continue to access the hill in comfort and safety.
During and after the process, we’ll consult with regular users of the trails, including the mountain biking community.
