The modification of the existing amenities building and construction of a new building that meets the participation demands and sporting club needs.
The existing amenities building consists of two change rooms, a canteen and public toilets. With the increase in female participation, the Albury Thunder Junior Rugby League Football Club (ATJRLFC) identified the need for additional separate change rooms and a referees’ room. Additionally, the requirement for a community room, a new canteen and storage room have been highlighted.
The existing facilities have met the needs of the user groups in the past and will require partial demolition and refurbishment as part of this project, while a new building is to be constructed to address the shortfall of amenities.

The concrete slab for the second building was poured this week while the footings for the verandah have commenced. Modifications of the existing building are underway.
6 September 2024
The second building concrete slab preparation continues while demolition works continues.
16 August 2024
On-ground commenced this week. Site preparation and demolition works are underway.
26 June 2024
Constructiion is scheduled to commence in early August 2024.

At the Council meeting held on 27 May 2024 Council resolved to accept the tender from Premier Building & Construction Pty Ltd for the Sarvaas Park Building Upgrades.

Tenders closed on the 4 April 2024. Six submissions have been received and are currently being assessed.
