Celebrate the final event of AlburyCity’s Music in the Gardens autumn series with a soul-stirring performance by award-winning folk artist Kerryn Fields on Sunday 18 May.
Renowned for her heartfelt storytelling and soulful melodies, Fields draws on her life experiences to create music that resonates with audiences. With a rich, warm voice and a sound shaped by the folk, country and rock ‘n’ roll of the ’60s and ’70s, her performances are captivating, authentic and deeply personal.
Born and raised in New Zealand, Fields has built a career around raw, honest songwriting, connecting with listeners through tales of life’s challenges and triumphs. In 2024, she released her acoustic EP The Folk Singer - a collection of stripped-back songs showcasing her signature warmth, humour and emotional depth.
This free open-air concert will be held in the Rose Garden of the Albury Botanic Gardens from 1pm to 3pm. Guests are encouraged to bring family and friends, picnic rugs and good vibes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, or you can pack your own picnic.
“Music in the Gardens is all about bringing people together to enjoy great music in one of Albury’s most beautiful outdoor settings,” said Albury Mayor Kevin Mack.
“It’s a free, fun community event that celebrates local culture and connection - and we can’t think of a better way to wrap up the series than with the talented Kerryn Fields.”
Don’t miss this unforgettable afternoon of music, community and nature.
