Activities in parks and reserves

We have public spaces where commercial operators can set-up mobile food and drink vending, personal training and canoeing.

Official expressions of interest (EOI) for vendors wanting to trade at Noreuil Park (see map below) are now open until 30 January 2025.

Application Requirements

The following details are required to be included in your expression of interest:

  • Application details (proof of identity)
  • Current public liability insurance certificate of currency and to the amount of $20M
  • Identify all activities for which the applicant seeks an approval, licence or commercial activity licence or a user agreement
  • The proposal ‘activity area’ is clearly defined in a detailed ‘activity area layout plan'
  • Detailed ‘site plan’
  • Traffic Management Plan and/or a Traffic Control Plan and Pedestrian Movement Plan

Copies of references in support of the proposed activity.

Commercial Activities on Public Land

Activation of our parks and open space to provide more opportunities for our community to get out and be more active and engaged is an important aspect of promoting Albury’s liveability.

We have designated public spaces in high profile areas where commercial operators can set-up mobile food and drink vending, personal training and canoeing.

These designated spaces include our Riverside Precinct, Wonga Wetlands and Kremur Street Boat Ramp. Due to existing lease agreements, operators wanting to set-up mobile food and drink vending activities in our Riverside Precinct will be assessed on a case by case basis.
